Most of our society is focused mostly on brands now when it’s time to buy clothing or other necessities like phones or purses or cologne things like that.But the most targeted brand conscious people are teenagers.The cortex of our brain is activated as soon as we something trending and we immediately say “oh everyone has that I should have it too.”It has play in our Social status.When it comes to seeing Levi’s or vans or apple or Nike our ventral striatum activates.The simple Idea of “COOL” was not to comfort or integrate with mainstream media.The 1984 commercial says that their rival IBM’s consumers are all lemmings because they used the same product they had instead of using the main brand apple.In my opinion brands don’t say anything about you because I rather be wearing off brand clothing but be driving my Camaro I think that brand clothing is unimportant to me it’s dumb because all clothing is the same to me.
